Each year, the Trail Run gets bigger and better! This trail run is one of the most beautiful runs you will do all year. Both the 5k and 10k courses feature single track trails as well as 4×4 trails and fire roads. The elevation change from the highest point of the run to the lowest point of the run is only 200 feet. However, don’t let that fool you as some parts of the trail switch back up the 200 feet rather quickly. While on the trails, you will run along the Russian River, through apple orchards, through mossy wooded areas, including redwoods, and finally by small creeks and open fields of tall grass. This race has it all and is perfect for both the novice and experienced trail runner.

On the day of the race, the gates will open at 7:00 am. Registration will be open from 7:15-8:45 am. The 5k and 10k will both start at 9 am. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers.

The Rio Lindo Trail Run takes place on the property of Rio Lindo Adventist Academy, a boarding high school located 70 miles north of San Francisco in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. Proceeds from the race will go to benefit the school’s athletic program, giving all students the opportunity to pursue and enjoy outdoor sports.
